Walk the Gym: The Cormier Youth Center
The gym is open from 9-10:30 am for you to exercise by walking the gym, regardless of the weather.

SOS: Seniors On Strength
S.O.S. is a dynamic combination of strength development and cardiovascular conditioning for the active older adult. This workout challenges all major muscle groups, mixing in great music that will inspire you to get the results you want. This fun class is designed to increase strength and range of movement, concentrating on balance, coordination, agility and flexibility.

Adventure
We have several outdoor groups that meet at various times of the year.
All hikes meet at the Center at Punchard at 9am. Activities subject to change due to weather and conditions. Registration is a must at www.myactivecenter.com  Any cancellation or changes will be communicated by email and/or phone to those registered. All participants need a health release form on file at The Center. Bring, binoculars, water and wear sturdy shoes or hiking boots, bug spray and walking stick. Please be sure we have your email and phone information to keep you informed.

Outdoor Adventures for Women offers an opportunity to demonstrate the changing image of retired women by exploring local hiking trails together and occasionally traveling to more distant destinations. This group offers physical activity, good conversation, chances to explore beautiful natural areas and often leads to new friendships among active women.
Registration a must.

Outdoor Adventures for Men provides a chance for active men to get outdoors from April through December. Most of our activities have been hiking the many wonderful trails in and around Andover, but we have done a few activities outside of the area such as walking the Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, toured the State House, hiked Dog Town in Gloucester, paddled the Shawsheen River, and bicycled the Nashua River Trail.  Our trips not only get us some wonderful exercise, but enable us to share the experience with other men, and offer the chance to photograph what we see along the way. The hikes are free — usually about 2-3 miles in length and last for 1.5 to 2 hours. Registration a must.
